Artist Statement
"My latest body of work explores the intentional disintegration and abstraction of a still life scene, eliciting a feeling of beginning, a profound sense of nourishment and newness. The warm cradle of a burgeoning kaleidoscopic natural environment evokes calm but reminds the viewer of times rapidity and the constant annihilation cycle of the natural world. We see the energy of the paint as moving object, and hold onto it for a moment before the decay."
